WE ARE MANY | For the referendum
It is the time of the people. It´s time to join forces and move forward. We have the right to decide on the issues that affect our lives and community, and to do so by referendum. We demand that referendums allow us to make our own decisions. We are many – Hamaika Gara – and there are more and more of us that believe in this journey.
We want decent lives for everyone, that´s why we have to put life at the center. We must reorganize care work, and transform interpersonal relationships, not only between each other but also with the Earth and the rest of the animals. We believe in the reorganization of our economy based on people’s needs and on social justice. We need to achieve decent work and retirement pensions, guarantee quality health care, secure our own sovereign education system, create the conditions to live freely for all bodies and identities, tackle male violence, LGBTQ+ phobia and all forms of discrimination and, as part of our respect for diversity in culture and language, promote the Basque language. Building our political future is our duty, and we must decide it here.
We live together in society and we will decide together, regardless of our individual origin or native language. No one is illegal. Civil and political rights are for everyone and must be guaranteed to those who have historically had them denied. In this regard, decision-making spaces which do not include women lack any legitimacy.
We have to reinforce the power of the people against those who are restricting our decision-making capacity. In order to confront the undemocratic threat, people must respond empowered and united, deepening democracy. When a community wants to govern itself, it must have the power to decide, it's only limit must be its own will. In fact, collective decision-making is the key to managing conflicts and guaranteeing peace and coexistence. Deciding together is what makes us a country.
We want to own our future and must have the option to decide the political status of our land and our relationship with other regions, freely and without subordinations. Indeed, despite living different realities we share the determination to advance in our sovereignties.
We want our decisions to be based on the transparency of information, the promotion of both public debate and critical thinking, and respecting to all political options equally. We want to guarantee and extend our fundamental rights and freedoms, and never to cut them back or use them to the detriment of minorities. All decisions must be taken on the grounds of coexistence and cohesion, so that all people feel part of them.
It is time to take effective steps on a path that citizens, social agents and institutions must travel together. A path that only each and every one of us can walk. The responsibility belongs to all of us, and we the citizenry are already on the move.

We, the citizens, need democratic mechanisms at our disposal. For this reason, we propose and ask the Basque Parliament to promote discussion about our political future and to ensure full public participation in order to implement, regulate and develop full power to hold referendums

We, the citizens of Navarre, want to be owners of ourselves and our own destiny, and hold our future in our hands. we want to decide free of obstacles, thus we express our willingness and commitment to move forward in this direction as far as our capacity to decide is concerned.
Therefore, we propose and ask the Parliament of Navarre to promote discussions about our political future ensuring full and effective public participation for each and every citizen. Furthermore, we ask the Parliament of Navarre to develop and assume democratic mechanisms to decide our future, including the power to hold referendums.

Therefore, we endorse this manifesto and express our willingness and commitment to move forward in this direction in the Northern Basque Country – Ipar Euskal Herria. We want to have the capacity to decide about the issues that affect us, deepening the institutionalization of our territory.
